More than two months after Ti9, just when we thought that the roster shuffles are over, Team Secret comes out of nowhere with a big announcement. After deciding to skip the first Major of the 2019-20 Dota Pro Circuit, fans started speculating about what Team Secret and captain Clement “Puppey” Ivanov were cooking up following a fourth-place exit at The International 2019 in August.

The first significant change is the departure of Yeik "MidOne" Nai Zheng from the team. The triple Major winner was a part of Team Secret for three years and played a significant role in their accomplishments. In fact, many people considered him to be their most influential player at one point.

However, the last DPC season was not the best for the young Malaysian player. He was criticized for his performance a lot, especially during TI 9, even though Team Secret reached their best placement at this tournament yet. According to the official information, MidOne is going to take an extended break from Dota 2.

As you can imagine, filling in the gap left by MidOne is not going to be easy. However, if there is someone that can do it, that has to be Lasse "MATUMBAMAN" Urpalainen. The legendary ex-Team Liquid player will be taking over the carry role in Team Secret. This means that Michał "Nisha" Jankowski is going to be Secret's new mid laner.

Apart from MidOne, SunBhie will also leave the 2018-2019 DPC champions. "He has helped with preparation, draft synergy, booth presence and game analysis – a crucial asset in making adjustments between matches during a series and through a grueling tournament."

Secret's new coach is called Lee "Heen" Seung Gon who used to be the coach of Team Liquid during their TI 7 victory march. More recently, the talent helped TNC and, judging by their results, he did an excellent job. "Heen will be working closely with Puppey to guide us ever closer to our ultimate goal of winning TI."

The upcoming ONE Esports Dota 2 World Pro Invitational（Dec 17 - 22）,will be the first tournament that The new Team Secret will participate in. So we'll soon see how the team performs in the tournament. Stay tuned!
