Hello everyone，

In this guide I will show you how to make a jumpthrow bind that should be up to date, since many binds are outdated nowadays.A jumpthrow bind will make you consistently throw your smokes at the peak of your jump when you’re holding a smoke grenade and while pressing your jumpthrow key.

First of all, you want to go into 'Program Files (x86)'. Once you’re there, go trought all these files:
Program Files (x86) > Steam > steamapps > common > counter strike: global offensive > csgo > cfg


PHEW! You got there? If yes, good job! Ok. So now what you want to do is create a new text file with Notepad (by right clicking) and type this command in it :

alias '+jumpthrow' '+jump;-attack'
alias '-jumpthrow' '-jump'
bind 'V' '+jumpthrow'

You can change 'V' for another key, but I do not suggest you do so. If you choose to bind it to a different key, make sure that key isn’t bound to other actions in game.


Now, SAVE THE FILE AS 'jump.cfg' and make sure it’s saved in ANY FILES format.


Congratulations! You now have your jumpthrow script done! Next, open your Steam Client and go into your Library. Right click on Counter Strike:Global Offensive and click on properties (at the bottom). A little window will pop up and you will see a button that says 'SET LAUNCH OPTIONS'.

Click on this button and type in the box the following command:

+exec jump

------------------------------------

This will automatically execute the jumpthrow script everytime you launch your CS:GO.


However, make sure you manually execute the config file for the first time. Open your developer console ingame, and type in: 'exec jump'.

Now, close all the windows and launch CS:GO! When you are ingame, you MUST hold the 'mouse1' button when you have the smoke in hand, and then press the key you bound for the jumpthrow to work. While having the grenade’s pin pulled back, press your jumpthrow key and you should jump and throw the smoke at the same time.
