IEM Katowice, one of biggest CS: GO events, will continue next year. Recently some details about it has been revealed.
This time also the tournament Playoffs will be played in the Spodek Arena from February 28 to March 1 and winner will take the lion’s share worth $250,000 and a point for the Intel Grand Slam Season 3.
The 16-team tournament will be held in the Spodek Arena in Katowice, Poland from Feb. 28 to March 1, which 10 teams will be invited and other 6 will qualify from the regional qualifiers, more details to be revealed soon. They will battle to share the $500,000 prize pool, and also the winner will take $250,000 and a point for the Intel Grand Slam Season 3.
IEM Katowice 2020 won’t be a CS:GO Major event. But it’ll be the first of two Major-level tournaments that are a part of the ESL Pro Tour global circuit, the second of which will be ESL One Cologne in July.
