As we known before, Valve has teased a couple of new heroes during TI 9. Supposedly, they will be introduced when the big update kicks in and year, it’s called “The Outlanders Update”.

We also knew that the update would release this fall, but unfortunately, in typical Valve fashion, they did not give us an exact date for when to expect it. Many people thought that we will see it as soon as TI 9 came to an end. However, this was not the case. In fact, it’s been over two months now and there is still no sign of it, even though there were a couple of other updates released during that time.

Finally, we have got some info about the release date recently. In a post on reddit, Valve's devs said：“Our plan is similar to previous years, where it is soon after the first Major is concluded. We tend to avoid broadcasting dates explicitly though because things can shift around and we wouldn’t want the expectation to be a specific day if a little bit more time was needed.”

So, It is obviosely that if things going smoothly the Outlanders should be here once MDL Chengdu concludes. This means that players must wait for around four weeks from now, which is not that bad.
