As you are aware, all markets are the game of demand and supply. Items in high demand and less quantity cost more. when more quantity is available, the more people sell it, prices become competitive and you can get item cheaper. There are some other considerations as well.

1.New items cost more than old items in ZBT market and also Steam price of items change less comparatively.

2.Items is less quantity cost more than those in abundance. (remember demand and supply :))

Lets try to understand this through an example below.I have collected prices of some items and from Steam and ZBT listed down here. Lets give it a look. INR stands for Indian national rupee.

Now, the first thought might be , huh, so how much is 1-ZBT in INR. And you would simply divided INR by ZBT value of item. But note that every item is differently priced in ZBT. so there is no fixed price. Market defines the exchange rate. i.e. how much seller wants to sell if for and is the buyer willing to pay for it.

Take the example of bundles shown above, they cost the same in INR but ZBT varies. Why so? Well the people who put the items for sell in ZBT think they can get that much price for it (depending on how rare they are). Whether buyer wants to pay for them or not is another story (how badly the buyer wants it). These are rare items meaning less quantity that is why seller is charging high price. Most of these are one piece, meaning , its supplier monopoly, i.e. the seller will charge as much as he wants as long as he thinks he can get that kind of money from buyers.

On the other hand, take the example of couriers. The first two cost more in ZBT even though they have lesser value in INR than last two couriers. What is happening here? Well, the quantity available in ZBT for fist two is less in ZBT , steam has a lot to sell. But ZBT has few. In such cases one may want to buy from the market that gives more value.

'Here is the business Idea for you. You can find costly items in steam that are not on ZBT and then price them enough to make a descent profit. See the bundle pricing. Don’t be greedy to make too much profit, as you wont be able to sell the item as buyers would see though your greediness and would rather buy from steam. Lets make ZBT a fair and sensible platform.'

You can also calculate how much time you are willing to spend for the item you want depending on how much ZBT you make in a day. There are some items which are very costly in steam and cost just a few games in ZBT. That is the beauty of ZBT; you get such items far easily and cheap in ZBT. Also beauty is in the eye of beholder i.e it’s a personal choice on how much you like an item. Price is ZBT is generally cheaper for normal items compared to steam market.
